Wall ovens and oven faults, handled properly in Kitchener
Bake elements, broil elements, temperature sensors, door hinges and the control boards that tie it together — these account for most oven failures, and they’re all standard truck stock for the brands Canadians own.

Wall ovens get special mention: single, double and combination microwave-wall-oven units are heavy, wired-in and unforgiving of improvised repair. Our techs handle the extraction and reinstallation cleanly, including double units in tight cabinetry.
Before we start, you get the price in writing. When the repair proceeds, the service call is free, the work carries a 90-day warranty, and the $35 coupon on this site applies.

From Victoria Park century homes to Doon new-builds
Kitchener’s kitchens span a hundred years of construction, and ovens age with them. In the older streets around Victoria Park and Mount Hope we regularly service wall ovens installed decades ago in custom cabinetry that nobody wants to rebuild — repair genuinely beats replacement there. In newer Doon South and Wallaceburg-area builds, it’s builder-installed units hitting their first sensor and board failures around years five to eight.
Oven repair Kitchener: common problems we fix
Oven won’t heat at all
Electric: a failed bake element or a control relay. These are same-visit repairs.
Takes forever to preheat
A weak igniter glowing but not lighting, or one failed element quietly making the other do all the work. Measurable, provable, fixable.
Bakes unevenly — burnt edges, raw middle
A dead convection fan, a distorted element or a temperature sensor reading fiction. We test against a calibrated thermometer rather than guessing.
Temperature drifts from the dial setting
Sensor or thermostat calibration. If your recipes only work at ‘set 350, mean 375’, the oven is overdue for this exact fix.
Door won’t unlock after self-clean
The classic self-clean lockout: extreme heat kills the door-lock motor or thermal fuse. Please don’t force the door — we release and replace instead.
Error code and a dead control panel
Modern ovens fail electronically as often as thermally. Boards, keypads and relays are diagnosable — read us the code when you call.
Brands we repair
Factory-trained on every major oven brand — electric and induction.
…and many others. Don’t see your brand? Just call — we likely service it.
Repair or replace? Natural Resources Canada’s EnerGuide label guide explains the energy ratings on a new oven. Most Oven repair Kitchener calls end with a fix, not a replacement.
